The Philippine archipelago was born by powerful forces, great tectonic pressures forcing lands to push upwards,       and mighty volcanoes produce their ash and fire.
During the last ice ages which starts two million years.ago,   the glaciers accumulate on land a substantial quantity of the earth's water in the form of ice. The water levels in the world's oceans drops down. At the height, the sea levels around the Philippines were 100 metres lower than they are today.         The sea beds surrounding  the islands of Palawan, Borneo, Java, Sumatra and the Malay peninsula were all above the water and made a huge extension to the Asia continent.      The earth's climate began warming 20,000 years ago and the oceans regained their present high levels ~ 10,000 years ago.
The first man who ever walk this land, reached the Philippines probably during the ice ages 40,000 BC. The earliest human bones found on Palawan around 20,000 BC.                    Stone artifacts from Palawan suggest Hunters 30,000 BC.

tectonischen Druck aus dem Erdinneren nach open gepresst.
Neues Land entstand aus dem Meer. Gigantische Vulkane
verstreuten das Magma der Erde als glühende Lava und Asche
über die noch jungfräuliche Inselgruppe.
Während der letzten Eiszeit,
die vor zwei Millionen Jahren begann, sammelte sich
das Eis in immer dicker werdenden Schichten an Land an.
Dehalb sank weltweit der Meeresspiegel um 100 Meter
an seinem Tieftststand,. Das Meer um Palawan, Borneo,
Java, Sumatra und die Malaccahalbinsel verschwand.
So entstand eine riesige Landbrücke zum asiatischen
Festland. Das Klima der Erde erwärmte sich jedoch seit
20.000 Jahren erheblich. Das Eis schmolz und der
Meeresspiegel stieg, bis er vor etwa 10.000 Jahren das
heutige Level erreichte.
Der erste Mensch der jemals auf diesem Lande wandelte,
erreichte die Philippinen während der letzten Eiszeit
etwa 40.000 v.Chr. Die ältesten menschlichen Überreste
stammen aus Palawan etwa 20.000 v.Chr. Behauene Steine
von dort lassen auf Jäger schliessen etwa 30.000 v.Chr.
